Erich Fromm

II. Entry.

The thinkers of the past have questioned the value of the family and its values, moral climate, believing that to become a good man, does not need to grow in such a family can be so influenced by people who are authoritative for you.

In our country, considering the importance of the family for the child, many scientists, educators and psychologists, believed and believe that only the family lays the Foundation of morality, the task of the school is only teaching children.

K. D. Ushinsky, L. N. Tolstoy was deeply convinced that a truly educated person can be in the environment in which honor the traditions and customs of generations, where there is a continuity between the past, present and future.

Such a man can only give his family. In his letters L. N. Tolstoy said that it is impossible to raise a good man, if he lives in an atmosphere of universal hatred and malice, it is impossible to raise a strong willed person where any manifestation of freedom suppressed and destroyed.

III. The issues for discussion.

What we must understand the moral education of the child in the family?

Speaking of moral education, it is necessary to visualize what life and society understand the concept of “morality”.

In Ozhegov’s dictionary we can read that morality is “rules governing conduct, spiritual and mental qualities, the necessities of man in society, as well as the implementation of these rules, manifested in his behavior, actions”.

Question 1 . The value of the family in moral education:

(The discussion at the round table).

According to V. A. Sukhomlinsky, “education is a gradual enrichment of the child’s knowledge, skills, experience, development of the mind and formation of the relationship to good and evil preparing to fight against anything that goes against pleasant in society morals”.

The basic content of moral education of V. A. Sukhomlinsky believed that the formation of such qualities as: ideology, humanism, citizenship, responsibility, diligence, generosity, ability to manage themselves.

Will moral education – the child will perceive the rules of cultural behavior from the environment surrounding it, will take the example of the parents: morality Will be, almost certainly will be, and spirituality; no morality, there is nothing, no education”.

Moral values, orientations and beliefs of the individual are in the family. The family is a special kind of group playing in the education major, long-term and crucial role.

Question 2 . Moral values.

(The discussion at the round table).

Moral value is a set of values, which in the future become moral rules of behavior of the child. Value orientations is that in his father’s and mother’s house is recognized as as possible and impossible, that those prohibitions and permissions that the child learns at an early age and keeps up to the formation of their own family.

It is necessary to form in the mind of the child from the time when he begins to speak. Thanks to this setup, the child will always strive to do good.

Another moral need, which is formed in the family, is the notion of conscience (conscience).

Question 3. “Conscience” in Your understanding:

(The discussion at the round table).

“Conscience is a person’s ability to self-control, self-esteem based on public moral opinion. The native conscience means knowing some General information about human behavior, norms, principles, essence of man, etc.”.

The primary task of parents is to instill in their children a deep, robust understanding of religion as the feelings that are part and parcel of the spiritual world. Knowledge of mental needs will help parents to raise children good and happy people that bring benefit to society.

IV. Analysis of the survey among students and parents.

The presentation shows the results of the survey of parents and students (digital version).

With students and parents, conducted a questionnaire to determine the relationship parents-children-teachers. Questionnaires were filled by students of grade 11 and their parents.

(For a discussion of the questionnaire results of the round table).

Conclusion: According to the questionnaire results, the conclusion is made such that the students have the same set of moral values, which in the future will become the moral rules that they have absorbed in the family, because the child is brought up in the family and all that is in the children is laid in the family. But, unfortunately, the results of the survey promotios what most parents already disengaged from education. Children are left to themselves. And their behavior will be corrected by the school, the street, the environment in which they communicate.

V. Summing-up.

Home for the child – school preparation for life. In the house there must be love, justice, tolerance not only to children, but to all the rest of the family. The education of a child includes instilling compassion. The development of this requires support from the parents – and not only in word but by example. The child needs to see how we show our love of neighbor.
